Our Fabrics
Rub Test: All our fabrics have been specially sourced based on quality, feel and longevity. All velvet fabrics have passed a "100 thousand" rubdown test, while all the cotton and linen mix are "65 thousand".
Pet & Child Friendly: All our velvet range are pet and child friendly. You can easily tackle stains with some warm water and soap. The covers can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
Our Leathers
We only use the finest genuine leather for our leather sofas. No faux, PU or bonded leather. You can choose from a range of different colours and textures. If you have certain requirements, we can source the leather through our network of professional tanneries.
Hand Antiqued Leather
The attractiveness of a classic chesterfield comes from its historic charm and aristocratic elegance. Our range of upholstery in Antiqued leather is no exception. The hide is dyed and pre-aged for a number of months. It is only sent to the workshop once the leather craftsman is satisfied with the results. The hide will then go through the antiquing process, which is achieved by gently rubbing away the top coat and add definition to patterns. Finally a coat of sealant is applied, providing a mellow luster finish and long lasting protection. This process gives our Chesterfield collection the classic character and warmth that is synonymous with this timeless piece of furniture.
Comfort is just as important as looks
We understand that comfort is subjective. It's hard to know if your sofa will be as comfy as it looks on our photos (we can assure you it will be). However, there is so much a photo can't tell you. How soft or firm are the seats? How much support is provided on the back? Is this a sofa to lay down and relax on?
Unlike some producers, we allow our customers to choose any of our seat fillings for any sofa model they wish. So there are no sofas specifically for sink-in deep lovers, or some just for those who like them nice and firm.
The following 4 types of cushions have been tried and tested by our customers over the years, so you can rest assured they will provide you with the perfect level of comfort that suits your needs.
Feather & Foam
Filled with the finest goose down feather and a foam core. Soft and luxurious to sit on, while the foam keeps it in shape and provides a good level of support. This is one of the comfiest cushions we have ever built.
Feathers are sewn into channels that are spread evenly across the cushion. This avoids lumps and ensures the cushion retains it's shape. They need to be plumped regularly to keep them looking great.
These cushion seats have a built-in strip of Velcro on the bottom so they stick to the sofa and avoid slipping out of place.
Feather & Foam and Fibre and Foam (the option below) are chosen by over 99% of our customers and have their seal of approval. This is why we always recommend choosing one of these. It only comes down to whether you prefer feather or synthetic fibre.

Fibre & Foam
Containing our exclusive "Comfy Fibre" these cushions are as close as you can get to the luxury of a feather filled cushion, using a synthetic material. The fibres we use have 50% more air pockets and are more bouncy than regular fibre.
Low maintenance. Only needs plumping once a week. Also comes with a built-in strip of Velcro to avoid slipping out of place.
The above seat cushion and "Feather & Foam" are two of the comfiest we have ever built and together they suit the taste of over 90% of our customers.

Sink In Deep
Feather wrapped fibre. Extra soft slouchy seat cushions. Only recommended for those who like to sink all the way inside the seat. It's as if you are sitting on clouds. Soft, squishy and luxuriously comfy.
There is very little support and they will get the lived-in look very quickly. Will require plumping after every use and may need refilling in the years to come. Therefore these are very high maintenance cushions.

Hybrid Foam – Firm and almost flat. Only recommended for those who like it firm to very firm. 90% high density foam with a layer of softer reflex foam to provide some comfort. Feels like you are sitting on a cushion rather than in it.

£49 standard one man delivery service to the ground floor for most UK postcodes. There are surcharges for some postcodes in Scotland, Devon and Cornwall (please contact us HERE with your postcode). Two men delivery service is available upon request. Although we do not deliver to Northern Ireland and UK Islands, we may be able to find a courier and deliver at cost. You can also nominate your own courier.
